Acer
A Taiwanese corporation, Acer laptop got its start by
present lower priced Personal Computers and laptop
computers for sale under the name Multi tech, and
presently under its recent name after it was changed in
the year of 1990. For a while, Acer offered generic
Personal Computers and laptop computers on a wholesale
basis to laptop computer shops that required selling
them under their own brand names. Now back to present
Acer Personal Computers again, the laptop is less well
known than that of Dell or HP, but it is slowly
manufacture inroads again into the overall market for
laptop computers. There are 4 different Acer laptop
computer models, each designed for a different type of
consumer.
The Travel Mate series is a model
that is designed for high performance and efficiency of
laptop computer, while still coming in under the
hypothetical budget. With a central processing unit that
ranges from a Celeron M to a Centrino Duo, both by
Intel, and the capacity for up to 2 GB of Random Access
Memory, this model can pack sufficient power to perform
any computing task that most people would throw at it,
but is customizable sufficient to allow for a laptop
user who does not require as much power to skimp a
little and save some money. In addition, Acer has
comprehensive the laptop computers battery life in this
model, to allow more computing time between charges.
The Tablet Personal Computers series
is actually a version of the Travel Mate with a monitor
that swivels so that the laptop computer becomes almost
like an e volume allowing the user to review and edit
documents just on his Acer laptop. It also has a unique
EMR pen input functionality of laptop computers that
lets you sketch right on the monitor, and it even has an
eraser ability, allowing you to “erase” any input that
was enter using the business end of the pen. And with a
Centrino Duo central processing unit and the capacity
for 4GB of Random Access Memory, it does not sacrifice
any computing power for this additional functionality.
The Aspire laptop computers model is
a high end version of the Travel Mate, with an option
between the Mobile AMD Sempron laptop computer, and the
Centrino Duo. The most outstanding dissimilarity between
the two models of laptops, however, is the size of the
display. Although the display sizes are identical in the
lower versions of every model, the cheaper version of
the Aspire laptop has a 20.1 inch monitor, which is huge
for laptop computers, compared to 15.4 inches for the
top TravelMate.
Lastly, the Ferrari is, well, the
Ferrari of Acer notebook computers. Acer laptops put an
AMD Turion laptop computer into this speed demon, and
packed as a large amount memory and hard drive space as
would fit, for a device that can compete with the
highest end models of any other laptop computers. |
